Birchen Coppice Primary Academy is an accredited  National on-line Safety School.  We take safeguarding of our pupils seriously, and feel it is essential that we reach out to our parents to support our work with on-line safety.
The internet is a fantastic resource that supports learning and enables communication.  At Birchen Coppice Primary Academy our  children are taught, and encouraged, to make safe use of the internet to enhance their learning experiences and develop a range of digital literacy skills.

Although internet use in school is rigorously supervised to prevent children accessing inappropriate content, it can be difficult to monitor this at home.  With most children having access to a range of mobile technology, it is important that parents and carers have up-to-date information about how to support, and monitor, their child’s personal internet use.
