One to one Teaching Assistant

Contract: Temporary Contract until 31st August 2020 in the first instance

Hours: 32.5 hours a week (term time only +5 TED)

 

Do you relate to young people and accept all their differences? Then you could be the person we are looking for! We are a progressive school which delivers a holistic curriculum incorporating mainstream academic teaching and learning with a wide range of therapeutic approaches to develop the whole child. 

 

We are looking to appoint an experienced, forward-thinking teaching assistant to work in our school. You will need to be skilled in a variety of settings, be self-confident and a team player. The successful candidate will be required to support and work with a pupil on a one to one basis, as well as part of a small group, increasing their ability to access all aspects of school life.

 

You need to demonstrate an ability to be flexible, enthusiastic, strong behaviour management skills and be able to use your own initiative.  You require a good level of education and evidence of good behaviour management as well as the ability to think on your feet and adapt learning where necessary.
